Pigeon Roost Farm

Today we went to a WONDERFUL place called Pigeon Roost Farm. It was a lot of fun for the kids and adults and a great day to spend with family. I have never seen so many pumpkins! We had excellent weather. The skies were beautiful and the air was crisp. Perfect fall day. I highly recommend this place, if you have never been. It is a bout 30 minutes east of Columbus and a nice little roadtrip. It is the perfect fall fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHLEY!!!!

My baby sister turns 26 today! (I feel old) Happy Birthday, Ashley! We love you so much and we CANNOT wait until you are home with us!

This Kid is Made for Walkin'...

Ally has been giving it her all when it comes to crawling lately, but she still just seems more interested in standing and trying to walk. She gets up on her hands and knees and can move herself backwards and can go easily from sitting to crawling position, but she just doesn't seem to want to use that forward gear (I kind of think she is waiting until Aunt Ashley comes home in a couple weeks, so she can show off for her). She is standing without any help from us or anything else, on occasion for up to 5-10 seconds now and easily stands for a long time if holding on to something. She will try to take steps if you help her, so I think walking is in our near future. Here are a few pictures of her crawling attemps and of her standing in her pack-n-play...

Today is Aunt Ashley's birthday!! We won't get to be with her on her birthday, but hope she is having a good time in Cali and has a GREAT day! We love you Ash!

Better Get Your Ally Fix!

Aunt Ashley and "Uncle" Ben stopped by today to visit with Ally one last time, before Ashley has to make her way back to California. They stayed for a couple hours and I got some fun pictures of Ben holding Ally. We also gave Ashley her birthday present while she was here, since we won't see her on her actual birthday. We enjoyed our visit, but don't want to see Ash go yet.

We will miss her so much!!!! Come back soon Aunt Ashley...we love you!!!

Aunt Ashley Came Home!!!

Ashley came home from Cali to meet her new niece. We were all SO excited to have her home and I was overjoyed to get to introduce her to Ally. She stayed for a week and we had a wonderful visit. It was an emotional goodbye when it came time for her to leave, but she will be back in about a month for Ally's baptism. She will become Allyson's Godmother. We will be counting down the days until you come back Aunt Ash! We love you!
