Tonight was a fun night. I picked Ally up from Beth's and drove straight to David's mom's house so we could have a date with Maw-Maw! We visited for a little while, Ally ate some cheerios and banana (her two new favorites) and when David got there, we took off for Old Bag of Nails in downtown Gahanna for a little dinner (thanks MIL!!). Maw-Maw wanted to take us out for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, Paw-paw had to work the night shift and was not able to join us. Our dinner was yummy (minus David's salad...another story, another time) and Ally was a good girl, hardly fussing and eating her entire jar of baby food, plus some more cheerios. After her dinner, we gave Ally something a little new to try...a lemon! And, she loved it! She cried when we took it away from her, but we didn't want her to have too much...just a taste for now. After dinner, David took Monica home and I went ahead on home to get Ally in to bed. Hopefully a good night sleep is in store for all of us (crossing fingers VERY hard right now).
