Happy Birthday MIL!!!

Today is my mother-in-law's birthday and we hope she has a fantastic day! We love you maw-maw and had so much fun celebrating with you Saturday!!!

Confirmation and Communion

Congratulations to Alex who celebrated his Confirmation and to Abby who made her 1st Communion this weekend! We traveled to Cincinnati with Laura and Dylan today to help celebrate with all of the Halsey gang. It was very nice to see all of my family...I haven't seen many of them since Christmas. Ally and Dylan did very well on the car ride down, but by the time we got home to Columbus in the evening, Ally had developed a fever and was not feeling well. Looks like I will probably be home from work tomorrow with her. I just hate it when she isn't feeling well.

Thanks to the Halseys for hosting such a nice gathering. It was great to see you all!

Double the Birthday Party Fun!

This evening we had a double birthday party for both Ryan and Monica. We celebrated by cooking out at Julie and Brian's house and it was a ton of fun! We had hamburgers, hot dogs, all the sides you could want and a delicious strawberry birthday cake to top it all off...yum! There were presents to be opened and lots of pictures taken. It was a great evening had by all! Happy Birthday(s) and thanks to the Martins for opening their home up to all of us! Hope we didn't destroy your house too much! :-)

Maw-Maw and Alyssa make a "Ryan sandwich"...Ally gets a little patty-cake help from her big cousin, Ryan...And a little sippy cup help from Alyssa...All the men had to "help" Brian with the cooking...good looking group, though...Dining al fresco...Sisters...Ally giving her Aunt Julie a big hug (or maybe my little sparkley object lover was trying to get a hold of those pretty hoop earrings)...It's present time!!!! Now, let's cut that yummy cake...A little jumping on the trampoline for the "big kids" after eating. Kayla is the best big cousin in the world. She takes such great care of all the Littles... A little cuddle time with maw-maw and paw-paw before everyone went home...

My Little Prairie Girl

We were getting out some of the clothes that Ally received when she was first born and can now fit into and we came across this cute little bonnet. Isn't she just too cute in her duckie jammies and little hat? (Never mind the food caked to her face from dinner...it just adds to her character. We gave her a good scrub down before bedtime.).

Being 5 is Great!!!

Happy 5th Birthday to my adorable nephew Ryan!!! I can't believe you are 5 already, Ryan! You are such a sweet, smart and fun boy. We love you and hope you have a great day!
