Once Ally was born, we decided we needed a way to keep everyone updated on our lives as a family of three, without sending dozens of e-mails each time we took a new picture or something exciting happened. What a Day for a Dip in the Pool
We let Ally play in her baby pool this past weekend, while we gave an extra deep clean scrub to our shower doors (made them squeaky clean...like brand new!). She had a blast (even with only a few inches of water!) and stayed in the pool spashing around for almost 45 minutes! She didn't want to get out. It was a great way for her to stay cool (and let us get some work done at the house) and have some fun on a very hot summer day.

And showers doors are on MY to-do list! Great minds think alike, eh? That and women just get sick of staring at GRIME!
Actually, it is quite shocking that she did stay in place for 5 minutes, let alone 45! She is a VERY busy little girl. That's the first thing out of the babysitter's mouth on a very regular basis..."Boy is she busy! All. Day. Long!" :-)
She really loved the pool that day though. I think partly because we only filled it a few inches, so she could splash and fall down and not get water in her mouth or nose, which she is not a big fan of and also because she LOVES being outside and it was so hot that we hadn't been outside that much in the few days prior to that.
I am so glad we did the shower doors this past weekend...like having a new bathroom! ;-)
